How to Select Vibrating Screen Coupling

Coupling is being used to connect two shafts to make them conjoined and deliver torque. It is a universally mechanical transmission component. As the vibrating screen coupling is standard component, users can choose appropriate one during use according to national standards.


Influenced by manufacturing, installation error and temperature variation, two shafts connected by coupling cannot be centring. In this case, it’s better to select cross coupling between reducer and clutch. This kind of coupling consists of one half coupling with a rut and one telophragma with protruding teeth both sides. Because the protruding teeth can move freely in the rut, it can compensate for the relative displacement between the two shafts. This kind of coupling can be made of 45# steel. And it’s better to make heat treatment in the working surface so that it can improve its hardness.

When it is put into use while two shafts has relative displacement, telophragma will generate large centrifugal force and then it will enlarge dynamic load and wear. Thus, users have better notice that working speed of this machine shall not be more than rated value.

Focus on Unbalance Motor Vibration on Vibration Platform



Vibration platform is not the vibrating device as what you imagine that it is not just added several springs and vibration motors. During actual production, it needs to be treated seriously. Here PK Machinery wil explain the unbalance vibration phenomenon of motor in vibration platform.
What problem users cannot address is that uneven and unbalance of vibration during operation of vibration motor. This unbalance vibration generates less effect on screening device, while it will occur frequently during making the vibration platform. However, users often ignore the unbalanced vibrating force of vibration device.

1.It will exist motor rotation during application of single vibration motor on the vibration platform. And it will cause materail moving on the surface of vibration platform.

2.It will change the phenomenon of uniform vibrating point if two vibration motors are put into use. Because of counter rotation of two motors, it can offset vibrating power in the middle vibration platform. If vibration amplitude around table is 5mm, then vibration amplitude in the central point cannot be more than 3mm.
